Charles River Ventures Adds Lisa Bonner Haines as General Counsel  

WALTHAM, Mass. (September 15, 2008) – Charles River Ventures (CRV), one of the nation’s leading early-stage venture capital firms, today announced that Lisa Bonner Haines has joined the firm as general counsel. Haines brings a wealth of experience to the position, previously serving as associate general counsel for Monster Worldwide and assistant general counsel for Interactive Data Corporation. In her new role, Haines will oversee all legal matters for CRV, including portfolio company financings, fund formation, and employment matters.

Haines joins CRV from Monster Worldwide where she served as associate general counsel and  primary senior attorney supporting monster.com. Prior to Monster, Haines served as assistant general counsel for Interactive Data Corporation  where she advised management on Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) compliance matters. Before Interactive Data, Haines was a Junior Partner at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP.

 

Haines holds a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University and a J.D. cum laude from Boston University School of Law. Haines is a member of the Massachusetts and New York Bars.
